As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will gain on‑the‑job experience across infrastructure design, highways, drainage and earthworks, working alongside experienced professionals.

The two‑year programme focuses on development and chartership support, with a mentor, CPD opportunities and exposure to clients, architects and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a 2:1 grade or better.
• Willingness to start Autumn 2027 and commit to a two-year programme.
• Permanent Right to Work in the UK and no visa sponsorship required.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a Built Environment setting.
• Passion for the Built Environment and ability to contribute to projects across corridors of design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Evolve graduate programme, gaining experience across development and infrastructure projects.

Our two-year Evolve graduate programme develops and supports the next generation of Built Environment professionals. As a Graduate Civil Engineer at Ridge you will benefit from on-the-job learning experiences while working on a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects. You'll build practical experience in infrastructure design, highways, drainage, earthworks and external works, supported by technical analysis and design coordination. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, planners and contractors, gaining a rounded understanding of how successful projects are developed and delivered.

What do I need to succeed?

• I have or am predicted a 2:1 bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related degree, or I hold a bachelor's degree in another subject together with a relevant Master's degree
