My client, an independent, well-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their team of specialist designers and engineers, based near the beautiful coastal location of Brighton.

Essential Criteria:

– A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering

– Working knowledge of a range of relevant software packages, such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit, etc.

– Possess a graduate-level understanding of the fundamentals of civil engineering design

– Have a good working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements, e.g., S104, S278, S38, etc.

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer to possess the following skills:

– Some experience of having worked in the civil engineering sector

– Familiarity with the local area

In your varied new role of Graduate Civil Engineer, you will join a team of industry experts, where you will make an impact on the projects you join. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:

– Carrying out Flood Risk Assessments, drainage design, SuDS, etc.

– Preparing calculations and drawings for adoptable highways and drainage, aligned to the relevant Controls and Section Agreements

– Producing 3D ground models for cut and fill exercises, volume calculations, etc.

– Working closely with clients and other stakeholders, e.g., Environment Agency, Water Authorities, Local Highway Authorities, etc.
