Title: Graduate Chemist
Location: West Cheshire
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Chemist with physiochemical tests such as pH, viscosity, density, color, and odor assessments.
  • Perform wet chemistry techniques including titrations, extractions, and gravimetric analyses.
  • Support with physical chemistry investigations, including stability studies and compatibility testing.
  • Assist in the development and optimisation of chemical formulations under the guidance of senior chemists.
  • Assist in the preparation and adjustment of formulations for new and existing products.
  • Perform ad hoc QC testing to support production and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with chemical regulations such as BPR, SDS, CLP, REACH.
  • Support the team with regulatory documentation and product registrations across the UK, Ireland and Europe markets.
Requirements
  • Recent Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, chemistry, formulation chemistry or related Scientific discipline.
  • Industrial placement or some experience in industry (preferred).
  • Full right to work in the UK, there is no sponsorship available in this role.
