In this role, the successful CAD Technician will be responsible for producing detailed 3D models and technical drawings for water mist fire protection systems. Working from quotations passed on by the sales team, you will design and estimate pipework and electrical layouts to ensure projects are accurately costed and efficiently delivered.
The ideal CAD Technician will have mechanical and electrical design experience with strong 2D/3D CAD skills. You'll be detail‑focused, numerically confident, and able to produce accurate drawings for pipework or electrical systems. Experience with CAD packages such as Revit is a must, alongside estimating knowledge and, ideally, some exposure to fire protection systems. This role may also suit graduates with the right technical ability and drive to develop.
