Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Graduate / Junior Product Designer to join a UK manufacturer of sports safety equipment. You will focus on SketchUp modelling, CAD and production-ready files, working with a Senior Designer and production team to take concepts through to manufacture and to develop your skills in materials and value engineering.

You will gain hands-on commercial design experience, learn how designs become real products, and contribute to ongoing product development projects

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early-career designer in Product/Industrial Design or CAD/SketchUp.
• Experience with SketchUp or CAD software from studies or placement.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D designs using SketchUp and CAD from specifications.
• Produce production-ready files for manufacturing.
• Prepare technical drawings and manufacturing information.
• Work with production team to ensure designs are manufacturable.
