Graduate CAD Designer (M&E)

We are a modern M&E consultancy focused on continuous improvement, offering formal training and career development. This role involves producing accurate mechanical and electrical building‑services drawings, working with Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks, and Revit to create construction‑ready designs for roof supports, bracketry, modular frames, pipe‑support systems, and walkways.

The Role
  • Understand and visualise customers’ needs to create engineered solutions that meet specifications, detail, and budget requirements.
  • Create high‑quality 2D and 3D drawings (right first time).
  • Deliver detailed manufacturing drawings to workshops for construction.
  • Supply detailed requirements to third parties for laser‑cut parts, powder coating, galvanising or other outsourced work.
  • Support the Engineering Manager with basic structural load calculations.
  • Develop design concepts for new products and innovations.
The Person
  • CAD Technician experience from an M&E background, or
  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with AutoCAD experience and a successful work placement.
