Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Building Services M&E Engineer in Stoke-on-Trent to kickstart a career in building services engineering. You will join a supportive team and work on a variety of heating, cooling, ventilation, and electrical projects.

As a graduate, you will gain hands-on experience, attend client meetings and site visits, and develop skills across design, modelling and documentation. A 2:1 or above engineering degree and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Controls or similar).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of heating, cooling, ventilation, electrical distribution and lighting systems.
• Support energy modelling and utility applications.
• Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare technical reports and obtain supplier quotations.
• Attend site surveys and design team meetings with senior engineers.
• Conduct research to support project delivery.
• Provide general administrative support as required.
