Arcadis is offering a two-year GROW programme for graduates in Electrical Engineering, based in the UK with potential international client exposure. You will contribute to real projects from day one, developing both technical expertise and professional skills under guided mentorship.

Ideal candidates graduate in 2027 (or 2025/2026) with at least a 2:2, possess resilience and creativity, and are willing to travel.

Qualifications

  • Graduating in 2027 or recently graduated in 2025 or 2026.
  • At least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working encouraged).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and consult stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Join the Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation team on UK and international projects.
  • Contribute to design of electrical distribution, motor control, instrumentation and automation.
  • Develop core engineering and consulting techniques while working on client engagements from day one.

Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build your technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, whilst business acumen and professional skills will be developed through centrally delivered graduate cohort training. Although there are no formal rotations, graduates are encouraged and supported by their managers to proactively seek opportunities, to broaden their experience and support their development.As an engineer joining GROW, you will be given the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline of engineering and we ensure you obtain the appropriate experiences that you need to become a technical expert. Being an Engineer at Arcadis is about applying a human filter to all your technical expertise and training, and making an impact through innovation and creativity. During this two-year programme you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques that can be applied while working with our clients in the UK and potentially even some of our international clients around the globe.Role accountabilities:Our inclusive and diverse Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation team, work across a broad spectrum of UK and international projects and industrial sectors. This can offer variation of work, experience, and challenges within Building Services; with Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineers involved in design of all aspects from Electrical distribution and Motor Control, through to Instrumentation, Industrial Control, and Automation. Everything you do will have sustainability at its heart through the designing of energy efficient electrical systems, renewable energy systems and their integration.Accepted Degrees: MEng Electrical Engineering (preferred).
