Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join a Bristol-based energy and sustainability team focused on BREEAM assessments.

You will assist with delivering BREEAM projects, energy modelling, and energy strategy development, with full training and clear progression paths in a rapidly growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have foundational knowledge of BREEAM assessments.
• Experience with energy modelling or construction sector is a plus.
• Membership to a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering BREEAM assessments for projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK and international legislation.
• Perform energy modelling as part of assessment work.
• Assist in developing energy strategies for clients.
• Coordinate with design teams to integrate sustainability objectives.
• Report progress to senior management.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join a rapidly growing building services and environmental consultancy as part of their energy and sustainability assessment team in Bristol

Qualifications: For this role applications are sought from candidates with a BEng / BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant building services / environmental / architectural discipline, candidates who have membership to a appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, will be at a advantage.

Experience: Ideally applicants will have a strong working knowledge of BREEAM assessments, and some experience working within the construction sector.

Duties

• Assisting with the delivery of BREEAM assessments
• Keeping an up to date knowledge of all relevant UK and International legislation's
• Completing energy modelling
• Assisting in developing energy strategies
• Liaising with design teams
• Reporting to senior management
