Job summary

Pertemps in Cardiff is seeking a Graduate or Assistant Cost/Project Manager to join the growing Project & Cost Management team. You will gain exposure to infrastructure-led schemes across utilities, aviation, energy and public sector programmes while developing skills for a successful long-term career.

With a degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline, you will receive structured training, mentoring toward chartership, and clear progression

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management or a related construction/engineering discipline.
• Graduate or early-career professional with interest in cost/project management in construction.
• Industry placement experience is advantageous but not essential.

Graduate / Assistant Cost Manager / Project Manager - Cardiff

£30k - £35k + benefits

Looking for the ideal first step in your construction consultancy career?

This Cardiff-based business is an award-winning engineering consultancy with a genuine family feel, a growing Project & Cost Management team, and an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across the region.

As a Graduate or Assistant Cost/Project Manager, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of infrastructure-led schemes spanning utilities, aviation, energy and wider public sector programmes. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll support projects from early design through to completion while developing the skills needed to build a successful long-term career.

Responsibilities will include assisting with cost planning, procurement support, contract administration, project coordination, risk management and ongoing cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

They're looking for a motivated graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management or a related construction/engineering discipline. Previous industry placement experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
