Infinitesima was spun out of the University of Bristol in 2001 and has been developing innovative metrology solutions to improve speed and precision in semiconductor manufacturing. The company's technology combines atomic force microscopy (AFM) surface detection, high-speed laser activation, and interferometry accuracy. The Rapid Probe Microscope (RPM) is protected by extensive patents and is used by leading semiconductor equipment companies worldwide.

Based in Abingdon, UK, we are a team of 90 people and are growing. We are seeking a Graduate Application Engineer to join our applications team. The role requires a dynamic individual with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of working autonomously, and supporting customers globally. The Opportunity:

The Applications Engineer will be a key technical contributor, supporting business development and customer applications. Responsibilities include demonstrating RPM capabilities, understanding customer needs, and liaising with industry experts to meet current and future requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience in probe microscopy, preferably in problem-solving environments.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support marketing through sample runs, data presentation, report writing, and conference participation.
• Assist customers with data collection and method development, ensuring effective communication of application needs.
• Present products and results professionally to customers.
• Act as the primary contact for application-related customer support.

Benefits:
