Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a Graduate Actuarial Analyst in Stirling to join the Solvency II Analysis Team. You will gain hands-on experience in regulatory reporting and balance sheet management while developing actuarial qualifications through the Actuarial Graduate Support Scheme.

You will work with Finance, Risk and Actuarial teams to analyse financial results, support regulatory submissions and help improve processes. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with numerate degree such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering.
• Pursuing actuarial qualifications encouraged; training provided.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to explain findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis and reporting of quarterly Solvency II valuation results.
• Develop understanding of shareholder and with-profits Solvency II balance sheets through reporting activities.
• Learn how commercial, financial and regulatory developments can impact solvency position.
• Contribute to With-Profits asset pool rebalancing outputs with accurate, well-controlled outputs.
• Assist with project work and wider business initiatives.
