Are you passionate about numbers and innovation? Maybe you’re looking for a new challenge? Brit Insurance wants to hear from you!
We’re a leading commercial insurance and reinsurance company and the 2nd largest syndicate in the historic Lloyd’s of London marketplace – known for insuring the most complex risks in the world.
As part of Brit’s growing Global Specialty Team, the Graduate Actuarial Analyst position will give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain exposure to multiple lines of business, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive team.
This is not your typical actuarial role. Brit Insurance takes pride in its approach to innovation, encouraging a diverse and agile approach to personal and professional development, communication, and operational excellence.
During this two-year rotational programme, you’ll support reserving, pricing, and business planning activities, rotating between our Actuarial Function and Portfolio Insights teams. You’ll work with colleagues across underwriting, claims, reinsurance, and finance, helping to develop and deliver clear, actionable insights. We provide personalised support to help you find the best team for you and build a long-standing career with Brit.
We’re looking for candidates who have achieved or be on course for a 2:1 in a numerate discipline, keen to pursue the IFoA actuarial qualification and available to start September 2026. You’ll need analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams. Coding experience (VBA, SQL, R, Python) is a plus.
Please note that the application window may close early if we receive a high volume of applications so to avoid missing out, do not delay.
