As a Senior Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the management and the provision of exceptional professional pharmacy services. The focus of your role will be to act as Responsible Pharmacist, provide support to the Superintendent Pharmacist, the rest of the pharmacy team and support the development of the business. You will help in ensuring a high-quality patient and customer experience is maintained.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking pharmacists to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. You will need to be organised and well-motivated and have excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.   • Experience of acting as Responsible Pharmacist in a Dispensary
  • Experience of using prescription tracking systems
  • Experience of working in an automated dispensary environment
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
  • Accredited for locally commissioned enhanced services, e.g. EHC, Minor Ailments, health checks and running extended services
Skills and aptitudes
  • Strong communication skills - must be able to recognize and overcome barriers to understanding e.g. language, deaf, learning difficulties
  • Strong ability to multi -task, prioritise plan and organize
  • Demonstratble commitment to CPD and a member of the GPhC
  • Fluent written and spoken English including good numeracy
  • Clean DBS or able to pass one when required
