Job summary

AMA Admin is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4 both inside and outside the classroom. You will collaborate with teaching staff to keep learners engaged, confident and motivated in a positive, inclusive school environment.

You will work with small groups or one-to-one, assist with lesson prep, and help maintain safe, welcoming classrooms while supporting diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

  • A degree in any subject area.
  • Passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS via the Update Service.
  • Experience with young people desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students across KS3 and KS4 both inside and outside of the classroom. The Ideal Candidate as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Considering a future career in teaching or education is advantageous
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
