Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is recruiting experienced GPS Excavator Operators to support bulk earthworks on the HS2 project in the Aylesbury area. This long-term opportunity requires strong GPS excavator experience and the ability to work across large-scale earthworks with Leica/Trimble/Topcon systems.

You will operate GPS machine-controlled excavators, perform trenching, grading and material movements, and work with site teams to meet design tolerances while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator ticket.
• Proven GPS machine-control experience is essential.
• Strong experience with Leica/Trimble/Topcon GPS systems.
• Experience operating excavators on major earthworks or civils projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely across large-scale earthworks and civils operations.
• Use GPS machine-control systems to meet required levels, lines and tolerances.
• Carry out excavation, digging, loading, grading and material movement tasks.
• Perform bulk earthworks, drainage, ground preparation and grade control.
