Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting locum General Practitioners to provide high-quality primary care across the UK. We offer flexible long-term or short-term shifts, with exclusive access to locum roles and dedicated support from a specialist consultant.

The role offers competitive hourly rates (£85–£90 via Limited Company, outside IR35) and a streamlined onboarding process to match your availability and region preferences.

Qualifications

• Must hold MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• MRCGP or equivalent where applicable.
• DBS check or willingness to undergo one as part of registration.

Responsibilities

• Conducting consultations and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and referring patients as appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role

What We're Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• MRCGP or equivalent
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Experience in out-of-hours or urgent care settings
