Overview

This position is a reception job, working within a team. Mainly covering day to day reception work on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

  • Scanning and attaching patient information
  • Completion of forms and other office paperwork
  • Provide administration support to reception practice team
  • Use of computer system to access patient medical records and other information
  • Use of photocopier
  • Training
  • Assisting doctors with patients as required (only when a DBS has been received)
  • Attend practice meetings as necessary
  • Reading practice policies and Alerts
  • DBS Check
  • Reception staff will be required to cover for other staff members during holidays, sickness etc.
  • Reception staff may be required to carry out other admin duties where necessary; training will be given where needed
  • Reception hours of work may change to accommodate the needs of the practice
