Hello! We are looking for a locum GP here at Chapelhall Practice for the months of July, August, September and October 2026.
We are just off the M8 at Eurocentral so easy to get to. Plenty on-site parking. Our locum rate is £350/session (£700 full day). Our locum sessions are capped at 12 appointments per session, every appointment is 15 minutes in length. Sessions are a mix of face to face and phone consultations, mostly face to face. No extras / add-ons. No house calls. We can be flexible on start/finish times. All patients you see will have already been triaged by one of the partners so when opening the record you will be able to view the triage notes before consulting the patient to know what the presenting complaint is. We have experience supporting newly qualified GPs. There will always be partners in the building during your shifts. We use Vision clinical system and docman mail system, although locums do not receive any docman mail workload.
Expected workload per session would be 12 appointments, and up to a maximum of 10 acute/special prescription requests. No bloods/lab results if doing ad-hoc shifts, however if doing regular shifts expectation is for locums to deal with and action only your own results, never anyone else’s results. We have a variety of shifts available over the next 4 months from July to October and are happy to accommodate either regular sessions or flexible ad hoc sessions as per your preference.
