Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking locum cover for two sessions on a Friday, with the possibility of two additional sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, well regarded practice in Cambuslang, working with a close knit team of four GP partners.

You would join a supportive clinical team including a Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacist and Community Links Worker, with a shared workload and opportunities for progression.

We are seeking locum cover for two sessions on a Friday and possibly two more sessions.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative, well regarded practice, joining an experienced and close knit team of four GP partners, one is Clinical Lead for the area, our enthusiastic salaried GP and three long term locums who meet on a daily basis. We encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests and offer regular tutorial sessions. You would also benefit from working with a team which includes Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Health Care Assistant, Pharmacist and Community Links Worker, complimented by an efficient admin team.

Previously in NHS GG&C, now in NHS Lanarkshire although we retain close links with GG&C services and most of patients attend GG&C hospitals.

We are a dynamic and forward thinking practice and offer the opportunity of progression for a GP of any level of experience. Well managed, shared workload and varied patient demographic. List size 9800 and steadily increasing due to local development.

Close to M74 and easy commute from West and Central Scotland.
