Job summary

HCA UK Primary Care Glasgow is seeking a General Practitioner / Health Screener to join onsite in Glasgow. The role offers part-time arrangements with minimum 4+ sessions per week across Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with salaried permanent status.

You will provide comprehensive primary care for adults and conduct health screenings in a patient-centered, preventative care framework. Responsibilities include examinations, investigations, prescribing where appropriate, and delivering lifestyle

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required.
• Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.
• Proactive, patient-first approach with an interest in preventative and lifestyle medicine.
• Training available on Advanced Health Screening.
• Private patient experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care for adults.
• Engage with patients, review medical history and perform examinations.
• Take bloods, smear tests and ECGs; arrange investigations as needed.
• Prescribe and discuss options, guiding patients to healthy choices.
• Deliver lifestyle coaching during extended appointment times.
