As a Health Care Assistant at SMW, you will be a vital part of a practice that is committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtful, responsive care to all our patients, tailored to their individual needs. You will work alongside a diverse clinical team, which includes GPs, practice nurses, pharmacists, and a social prescriber.
As an HCA at Stanhope Mews Surgery (SMW), you'll perform a range of hands‑on clinical and supportive tasks essential to primary care delivery. Your main duties will focus on direct patient care and supporting the clinical team in diagnostics and preventive health measures.
Stanhope Mews Surgery (SMW) is a large, well‑regarded general practice serving approximately 16,000 patients, primarily from the South Kensington area within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We are proud to hold an overall Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating of Good across all five categories. Our mission is: "Helping Others to Help Themselves".

You will be joining a highly professional and collaborative environment:
The Team: The clinical staff is diverse, comprising GPs, practice nurses, health care assistant, pharmacists, First Contact physiotherapist, and a social prescriber. Our support staff includes a dedicated reception team often the first point of contact along with administrative and clerical staff, all overseen by the practice manager and his deputy. We also work closely with the allied 'My Care My Way' health and social care team for older adults.
Work Ethic: Our ethic is built on a commitment to responsiveness and support. We are part of Brompton Health PCN. We are also an accredited teaching centre for Imperial College London, demonstrating our commitment to training and clinical best practices.
The HCA will undertake the following clinical and administrative duties:

Preventive Health and Management
Depending on experience£17 - £19 per hour
