A health education authority in Wales is seeking a permanent GP CPD Lead - Digital Learning to develop high-quality CPD resources for General Practitioners. The ideal candidate will have GMC registration, experience in NHS Wales, and strong digital literacy to enhance online learning platforms. This role offers flexible working opportunities and the ability to impact healthcare education across Wales.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent GP CPD Lead - Digital Learning within the Revalidation Support Unit. The postholder will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality online CPD resources for General Practitioners across Wales, ensuring alignment with HEIW's strategic priorities and the evolving needs of primary care.
The successful applicant must hold GMC registration with a licence to practise as a General Practitioner in the UK, and a GMC connection to a designated body in Wales for the purposes of revalidation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The postholder will lead on the publication and maintenance of GP CPD content on HEIW's learning platform - Y Ty Dysgu. This will be done in collaboration with our existing GP CPD Leads and the office team including the Head of RSU.
The postholder will lead and contribute to the ongoing quality assurance of our existing e-resources ensuring clinical accuracy and relevance.
The postholder will be expected to build a network of clinical content creators, authors and specialists to support the development and evolution of our online offerings.
Utilising their experience of using or contributing to online education platforms, the postholder will explore innovative opportunities and solutions that will enhance the user learning experience.
