Job summary

Evercore’s GP Advisory Summer Internship is designed for penultimate-year students pursuing a career in investment banking. Interns will join a deal team to work on live GP-led secondary and structured transactions for private equity sponsors, gaining direct exposure to financial analysis, deal materials and execution work.

Summer Interns will collaborate with analysts, associates and senior bankers, developing an understanding of portfolio company dynamics and broader private capital activity

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year university students pursuing a degree in finance, economics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a deal team.
• Demonstrated interest in private equity and capital markets.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the execution of GP-led secondary and structured capital transactions across the lifecycle.
• Performing financial modelling, valuation and analysis of portfolio companies, funds and transaction structures.
• Conducting company, sector, sponsor and secondary market research to support live mandates and business development.
• Preparing client presentations, transaction materials and investor-facing documentation.
• Supporting investor outreach and the coordination of transaction workstreams.
• Working closely with junior and senior team members on live mandates, pitches and strategic assignments.
