Job summary

North Yorkshire County Council is seeking a Governance Officer to join the Governance Team at the heart of the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. You will support effective decision-making, transparency and accountability across a fast‑moving organisation, working with elected Members and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, democratic services or committee administration.
• Understanding of governance, procedures and legislation in public bodies.
• Ability to interpret policies and legislation and apply them in practice.
