At Change Grow Live, we believe in creating the conditions for success — for the people who use our services, and for the people who work and volunteer with us. Guided by our values of Be open, Be compassionate, Be bold, we support people to change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its fullest.

We’re looking for an inspiring Governance, Quality & Performance Lead to help drive excellence within our Smoke-Free service — ensuring that every person who comes to us receives safe, effective, and high-quality support to stop smoking and improve their health.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll work collaboratively across teams to strengthen performance, quality assurance, and governance processes, ensuring that the service continues to innovate, learn, and deliver outstanding outcomes for our communities.

About the Role

As our Governance, Quality & Performance Lead, you’ll:

  • Drive quality and performance excellence – ensuring the service meets key performance indicators, contractual targets and quality standards, while adapting to changes in national guidance, community need, and commissioner priorities.
  • Lead continuous improvement – design and deliver quality improvement plans, lead audits and service reviews, and identify best practice across the service.
  • Support and coach our people – develop and deliver training, workshops and coaching sessions to help staff grow in confidence and capability.
  • Collaborate across teams – work closely with the Nurse Manager, Project Manager, Head of Service, Data Lead, and our national Quality, Risk and Safety teams to align service delivery with NCSCT, CQC, and other regulatory standards.
  • Champion a learning culture – lead on incident management, analyse feedback and outcomes, and embed a culture of reflection, learning and improvement across all teams.
About You

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in governance, quality management, or performance improvement within health or social care settings.
  • Strong project and performance management skills, with the ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience of leading and developing teams, supporting colleagues to achieve excellence in their practice.
  • Confidence in quality improvement methodologies, including audits, data analysis, and process review.
  • A proactive approach to learning, adaptability and innovation, with the flexibility to work across different operational sites (including occasional evenings or weekends).
  • A genuine passion for improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
