Job summary

Markel International is seeking an IT-enabled governance professional to support underwriting governance and product oversight. The role focuses on strengthening governance processes, data analysis, and regulatory compliance across our underwriting functions.

You will collaborate with the Governance & Delegated Audit team to ensure robust oversight, timely actions, and clear reporting for internal stakeholders and Partners. A meaningful career in a global, optimist-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Have effective communication skills.
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Comfortable with data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual product reviews and track actions to completion.
• Complete conduct risk assessments across varying lines of business.
• Provide conduct support and governance assistance to internal and third-party partners.
• Analyze conduct/Product MI and present data visually for the Conduct Oversight Group (COG).
• Assist the Governance Manager with the Independent Expert Review programme.
