A leading gardening charity in the UK is seeking a Governance Co-ordinator to support the Secretariat in delivering governance functions. This hybrid role involves managing communications with key stakeholders and ensuring the logistics of the governance calendar are maintained. Ideal candidates will be highly organised, proactive, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Job Title: Governance Co-ordinator (hybrid/flexible working)
Location: London
Salary: £36,000
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for a Governance Co-ordinator to support the work of the RHS Secretariat, in delivering the charity's important governance function. You will be part of a small busy team, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the calendar of meetings and events each year and working closely with the charity's senior leaders including its trustees, Board and Committee members and the RHS Leadership Team. This team is crucial to fulfilling our governance and statutory requirements and offers a great opportunity to grow in governance experience. The work is varied and interesting, sitting within the Director General's Office.
Reporting to the Company Secretary, the Governance Co-ordinator will support the Secretariat team in ensuring the logistics of the governance calendar are delivered alongside day to day communications with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of governance linked projects as well as events and visits to RHS gardens.
