A leading infrastructure firm in the UK is seeking a Governance & Assurance Business Partner to ensure systems comply with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will develop governance frameworks, engage with key stakeholders, and manage risks. This role offers competitive salary, career growth opportunities, and various employee benefits including a company car and flexible working options.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Governance & Assurance Business Partner to join our Transport Infrastructure HSEQ Team directly supporting our Highways business. We are seeking someone who shares our passion for enabling and delivering true operational excellence.
At Amey we know that road and rail networks are much more than tarmac and ballast - they offer a wealth of opportunities from physical journeys to see friends and family, to go to work or to enjoy time away. The work of our teams makes sure people get to where they need to be, on-time, every time. We understand the emotional impact poor transport can have on lives, so we make sure communities are connected to vital services and leave a legacy for future generations. Our personal journeys through life are often the most challenging, so we offer everyone a chance to grow and develop, breaking down barriers for all. We recognise everyone's journey in life is different. With our knowledge of infrastructure, we take personal responsibility to create infrastructure solutions which benefit local people and places, enabling the country to thrive one community at a time.
In this role, the Governance & Assurance Business Partner is responsible for making sure that systems, processes, and operations comply with organisational objectives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive industry experience, knowledge, and skills to support key stakeholders across the business in developing effective solutions that enable our business to meet our priorities. The role will report directly to our newly created Head of Governance and Assurance for Transport Infrastructure.
