A leading engineering firm is seeking a Governance and Learning Manager at Hinkley Point C. The role involves ensuring compliance with the Dalkia New Nuclear IMS strategy and leading a team to drive quality and safety culture initiatives. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in the Nuclear sector, along with strong leadership skills. This position provides an opportunity to influence strategic people plans and promote a positive learning culture in a critical construction environment.
Hinkley Point C is the UK's first new build nuclear power station in a generation that is critical to the UK NetZero targets.
All roles on the project require key behaviours which support the Zero Harm objective, a questioning attitude, and drive to uphold the standards of safety and quality required by this prestigious project. A committed strong work ethic is essential at all levels.
All candidates are expected to demonstrate their knowledge and experience where possible directly related to the criteria required for the role. It is acknowledged that previous Nuclear based experience will not always be possible, as such supporting with project research and how individual skills may be transferable will be important.

As Governance and Learning Manager you will ensure that the Dalkia New Nuclear IMS strategy is understood and implemented and to ensure that Client and statutory requirements are effectively met. You will support the Quality Lead for activities such as developing procedures, ensuring training and Nuclear Safety Culture activities are delivered along with leading lessons learned / best practices in the quality system, training on quality, audits and quality improvements.
