A growing educational trust in the UK is seeking a Governance and Development Officer to enhance governance across its schools. This role offers part-time and full-time options, and the successful candidate will ensure effective and compliant governance processes, impacting pupils' life chances. As a Governance and Development Officer at Creative Education Trust, you’ll play a vital role in supporting effective, compliant, and developmental governance across our schools. Working closely with the Head of Governance, you’ll help ensure our Trust Board, committees, and Local Academy Councils operate with confidence, clarity, and strategic impact, ultimately contributing to better life chances for every pupil.

The Governance department plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and strategic direction of the Trust’s academies. The governance framework is designed to uphold integrity, accountability, and a commitment to excellence across all schools within the Trust. This framework includes multiple layers such as the Trust Board, Academy Councils, and the Executive Leadership Team, all working collaboratively to oversee financial management, educational performance, and strategic initiatives. The Governance and Compliance team supports these efforts, ensuring consistency and adherence to the Trust's Scheme of Delegation.
