Job summary

The GORSE Academies Trust is seeking reliable Catering Assistants to join our friendly catering teams at various sites across The GORSE Academies Trust. You will help deliver a high-quality catering service for pupils, staff and visitors in a fast-paced academy kitchen.

We offer training and support in a role that promotes food safety and excellent customer care. Also provided are a pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme and a cycle-to-work scheme.

Catering Assistants


Salary: £12.71 per hour.


Hours: Between 10 and 30 hours per week, depending on the academy, term time only + 1 working week.


Location: Various sites across The GORSE Academies Trust.


We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Catering Assistants to join our friendly catering teams at various sites across The GORSE Academies Trust. In this important role, you will help deliver a high-quality catering service, ensuring pupils, staff and visitors enjoy nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming and well-maintained dining environment. Working as part of a busy academy kitchen, you will support food preparation, service and dining operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering great service and wants to make a positive contribution to the daily experience of young people. Whether you have previous catering experience or are looking to develop new skills, we will provide the support and training needed to help you succeed.
