- Live in‑person whiteboarding sessions to problem solve as a team, alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.
- Hybrid working with the team on client site or in our office a minimum of two days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.

- Defining the end‑to‑end security architecture and Google Cloud security solutions for a project or programme, creating Conceptual, Logical architectures and implementing them to align to business needs.
- Working to deliver leading edge solutions in identity management in Cloud IAM, network and infrastructure protection, cloud native security, security monitoring, network segregation etc., to defend against some of the most advanced threats and capable threat actors.
- Reviewing the current state of client’s security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Interpreting complex business and technical issues to create a viable solution.
- Working on projects with high strategic impact, setting a strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation.
- Designing secure system architectures through the application of Google best practice patterns and principles, to meet user needs while managing business and security risks.
- Applying innovative security architecture solutions to problems and be able to justify and communicate design decisions.
To meet the demands of this role, a solid foundation in information security, relevant certifications (such as Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Security Operations Engineer, CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, SABSA), and a proven history of delivering security solutions for large‑scale infrastructure or integration projects are essential.
Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance. All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard; some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
