A healthcare provider in London is seeking a Goods Receiving and Distribution Officer to manage the receipt and delivery of goods across multiple hospital sites. The ideal candidate will have good physical fitness for lifting and carrying tasks and strong communication skills for engaging with staff at all levels. This role plays a key part in maintaining effective inventory control.

This role will be based at the Moorfields Eye Hospital Site.
To offer support in the receipt and delivery, to undertake deliveries throughout the hospital site, this role involves lifting, carrying, bending and is a physical role; interaction with staff of all levels is required.
Responsible for the correct receipt of goods into the site and organizing their delivery to user departments. This service is provided to all NHS Trusts on all sites.
Undertake goods receipting, organize goods for distribution by facilities management portering staff, undertake distribution where required and provide support to the Ward Inventory Control service with the checking and putting away of goods at ward level where required. Also picking.
Internal requisitions from a bulk store, using inventory systems and issuing stock. Each of the Goods Receipt & Distribution Officer staff will have a nominated base but are required to work on other PPS sites these include Moorfields, Royal Free, Barnet, Chase farm and the Whittington Hospital, depending on the needs of the service.
