What You Will Do

As a Goods Inwards Operator , your accountable for, but not limited to :

• Receiving Goods : Accurately receive and log all incoming shipments, ensuring that delivery documentation matches the actual goods received.
• Inspection : Inspect goods for quality and quantity, reporting discrepancies or damages in the correct manner according to the standard work.
• Data Entry : Enter received goods into inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Storage Management : Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring easy access and compliance with safety regulations.
• Inventory Control : Ensure consumables stock is always correct to maintain the MIN / MAX ordering system.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to resolve any issues related to incoming goods and invoice grief.

What You Can Demonstrate

• Fork Lift Truck License
• The ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal instructions
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations to perform the duties described above.
• Ability to understand standard works and follow direction. Job is performed in accordance with procedures and instructions.
• Proficient with the computers
