Job summary

Bestway Group is hiring a Goods Inwards Operative at the Dee Bee Depot on Adam Smith Street, Grimsby. The role covers receiving deliveries, stock control, and general warehouse tasks in a busy environment.

Applicants should have previous goods inward experience, be reliable and flexible, and hold a current Counterbalance forklift licence. Hours are Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Saturday 08:00-15:00, totaling 38.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

Goods Inwards Operative

We are delighted to offer a full time opportunity as a Goods Inwards Operative at our Dee Bee Depot, based on Adam Smith Street in Grimsby.

We are a family run business, operating a Delivered Wholesale business from two depots located in Grimsby and Hull.

What will I be doing?

As a Goods Inwards Operative your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving and checking supplier deliveries
• Stock Management
• General Warehouse duties
• Splitting deliveries

Previous Goods Inwards experience is desirable.

Applicants must be flexible, reliable and able to work under pressure in a busy warehouse environment.

A current Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence, dated within the last 3 years, is essential.

What are the hours?

• Monday to Thursday; 08.00 – 17.00
• Saturday; 08.00 – 15.00
• Total; 38.5 hours per week
