Qualifications

• Must have previous Forklift Truck experience and high visual accuracy.
• Good verbal and basic written communication skills are necessary.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and check all incoming stock.
• Prioritize items on receipt according to out-of-stock lists.
• Ensure the product descriptions and sizes are correct.
• Check for product damage and expiry dates.
• Count and record products accurately and pass paperwork to Goods In Office.
• Report any issues to the Team Leader.

This role is in support of Cencora’s wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Job Purpose: We have a requirement for a Goods In Operative / FLT Driver ensuring all incoming stock is accurately received and checked, correct information recorded and its safe transportation to the relevant area. Processing orders ready to be put to the picking locations.

Goods In Operative / Very Narrow Aisle FLT Driver

Location: LS11 0LR

Days of week: Monday - Friday

Rate Of Pay: £13.10 per hour

Working hours: 14:00-22:00, 37.5 hours per week

Essential:

• Previous Forklift Truck experience
• High Visual Accuracy

Desirable:

• Anypreviousexperience of working in awarehouse environmentwould be highly desirable.

Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities

• Accounting for all incoming stock ensuring the following procedures are applied.
• Out of stocks lists are checked and items prioritised on receipt.
• Checking product description and pack size is correct.
• Checking product for damage and expiry date.
• Counting product and accurately recording on paperwork.
• Passing completed paperwork to Goods In Office.
• Reporting to Team Leader any other matters or queries.
• Ensuring housekeeping standards for inside and outside bays are always maintained.
• Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met.
• Awareness of company security by ensuring all delivery drivers wait outside.
• To carry out any reasonable requests by branch management.
