Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Goods In Operative for a temporary role in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1). You will unload goods from trucks, move items to designated areas, and ensure safe, efficient unloading during rotating shifts.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, good time management, and basic hand scanning. Pay rate is £12.21 per hour, paid weekly under PAYE, with standard deductions.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and quality standards consistently.
• Good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move computer systems and boxes (10–15 kg, may require 2 people).
• Experience in packing or quality control is desirable but not essential.
• Hand scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload goods from trucks and transport to designated areas using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure items are unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate personnel.

Key role and responsibilities for Goods In Operative

• Unload goods from trucks or other vehicles
• Transport goods to designated areas using appropriate equipment
• Ensure that all items are unloaded safely and efficiently
• Report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate personnel

Minimum requirements for Goods In Operative

• Physically fit and able to lift and move computer systems and boxes (Our systems on average are between 10-15kg but can be much heavier and require 2 people to lift)

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, PAYE, Paid Weekly

Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply

Working hours

• Monday - Friday: Rotating Shifts
• 1) Mon To Friday 08.30 – 17.30
• 2) Mon to Friday 10.00 – 19.00
• 3) Mon to Friday 08.30 – 17.30 with a Saturday 09.00 – 17.00

This job is commutable from the following areas Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.
