Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET) is seeking a Go Engineer to strengthen the JET Connect platform, building high-volume POS and menu integrations used by top brands across 10+ countries. You’ll write robust Go code, scale microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable integrations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Solid Go experience with several years of commercial coding.
• Proactive mindset to improve the codebase and processes.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven design.
• SRE mindset with focus on production reliability.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development and pairing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Hands-on AWS services (DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, S3).
• Bonus: international teams or high-volume transaction systems; Kafka is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale in Go: maintain high-throughput microservices.
• Work in a Kanban delivery flow, actively selecting work.
• Champion system health by reviewing production anomalies.
