Job summary

OXB in Oxford is seeking a GMP Support Assistant to join the Manufacturing Support team. You will help ensure GMP compliance through routine cleaning, material transfer and waste removal, supporting daily operations in a fast-paced biotech facility.

The successful candidate will have GCSEs or equivalent, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. No prior advanced therapies experience required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) and/or relevant work experience.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a regulated environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning and sanitisation of work areas, equipment and materials, to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work as part of a team to ensure daily tasks are completed on schedule, helping the facility run smoothly and efficiently.
• Support the movement and organisation of equipment, consumables and materials throughout the facility, ensuring the right items are available when needed.
• Assist with stock management activities, including monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate records.
• Complete documentation and records accurately, with a strong focus on attention to detail and compliance.
• Follow all health, safety and site procedures to ensure work is completed safely and in line with regulatory requirements.
