Job summary

Finsbury Food Group is seeking an Development Account Manager to lead the development of new and existing products from concept through to launch, ensuring timely delivery that meets customer requirements within our NPD framework.

You will work closely with customers, retailers and internal teams to identify trends, source ingredients, manage trials, and ensure feasibility and compliance across product lifecycles, from pre-production to post-launch reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and suppliers.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new and existing products from concept to launch.
• Ensure projects meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Customer, Retailers, Commercial, Marketing and NPD teams.
• Coordinate factory trials and pre-production launches.
• Manage packaging artwork approvals and post-launch reviews.
• Provide regular project updates and continuous improvement opportunities.
