Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a London-based Meteorologist to support the Global Risk and Resilience team.

You will produce tactical forecast products for EU and RoTW regions, provide weather briefings to operations, and manage complex weather-related projects affecting Life and Safety, Operations, and Brand. The role requires independent work, strong judgment under pressure, and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in meteorology or atmospheric science.
• Experience with weather forecasting, risk assessment and incident response.
• Strong analytical and written/oral briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive meteorological risk analysis to identify impacts on operations across EU and RoTW.
• Collect and interpret climate data, radar and satellite imagery using statistical methods.
• Produce written and oral briefs for stakeholders during large-scale weather events.
• Develop and maintain weather monitoring systems and dashboards.
