Job summary

Pacific Life Re seeks a Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury team to support global treasury operations, cash management and banking services for PL Re Group Companies in the UK and Bermuda. The role reports to the Treasury Manager within the PL Re FMT function.

You will assist in managing cash positions, bank accounts, forecasts and treasury projects, ensuring accurate, timely transmission of payments and receipts. Collaboration across time zones and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Treasury experience.
• High level of attention to detail, delivering accurate work within deadlines.
• Well-organised and able to prioritise tasks under competing deadlines.
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced treasury/finance function.
• Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, functions and time zones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear information sharing.
• Collaborative team player with willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Execute domestic and cross-border payments in line with approved processes and controls.
• Process multicurrency bank transactions accurately and on time, complying with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain bank account signatory lists and support admin activities.
• Support daily cash positioning across group entities and currencies.
• Assist in short-term cash forecasting to support liquidity planning.
• Escalate cash shortfalls to senior treasury members promptly.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Adhere to treasury policies and internal control requirements.
• Support updates to treasury process documentation and control evidence.
• Assist with regular treasury management information (cash, liquidity, banking metrics).
• Support month-end and audit processes with required treasury data and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal finance, tax and operations to ensure smooth treasury activities.
• Support FX transaction execution and settlement in line with processes.
• Maintain records of FX trades and settlements for reporting/audit.
