Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc invites applications for an Off-Cycle Internship in Global Trade Solutions, based in London (10-week program). You will join Corporate and Institutional Banking and gain exposure to international trade, payments, risk management and working capital solutions.

You’ll learn through structured training and hands-on experience, contributing to trade cycles and customer support while developing practical skills in a global banking environment.

Qualifications

• Be eligible for an internship in the UK and able to start in March 2027.
• Interest in Transaction Banking and global trade would be beneficial.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support activity across trade cycles, payments, documentation and risk.
• Assist with Letters of Credit, maintaining records and tracking trade transactions.
• Analyse data in Excel and support reports or pitch materials.
• Support colleagues in compliance and controls, including sanctions screening and AML reviews.
