Job summary

Charles Tyrwhitt is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee global tax compliance across the UK, US and France, with support from local advisers and internal teams.

The role covers corporation tax, VAT/GST, US sales tax and transfer pricing, with focus on accuracy and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will navigate a dynamic tax landscape and drive process improvements in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant accounting or tax qualification.
• Strong technical experience in tax departments, audit or financial accounting teams.
• Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Broad knowledge of UK GAAP, Tax and VAT.
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze large data sets to reach conclusions.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle corporation tax filings and compliance for UK, US and French entities with local advisers.
• Own transfer pricing policy reviews and maintenance across the Group.
• Maintain tax risk registers and conduct annual reviews with Senior Accounting Officer.
• Collaborate with departments to inform tax impact on commercial decisions.
• Manage and review monthly US sales tax submissions.
