Job summary

EnerMech in the UK is seeking a Group Tax Manager to join our Tax team, based in Aberdeen or Glasgow. You will lead global corporate income tax compliance, oversee tax reporting and advise on UK and international tax matters supporting our expanding operations.

You will partner with regional finance teams and external advisors to ensure accurate filings, drive process improvements, and strengthen controls across IFRS/GAAP reporting and transfer pricing.

Qualifications

• Business or Accounting degree with recognised professional qualification (ACA/ACCA).
• Demonstrable international tax experience in a Big4 or multinational environment.
• Team player who drives efficiency and value in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the outsourced global corporate income tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Manage external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings, estimates, extensions.
• Oversee cash tax reporting for corporate income and withholding taxes.
• Lead the preparation of tax provisions (IFRS/Local GAAP) and coordinate disclosures.
• Provide tax advice for tenders, compliance, and reorganisations in the UK and Europe.
• Ensure transfer pricing documentation and intercompany calculations with business partners.
• Maintain internal controls over tax accounting; lead audits and inquiries.
• Drive process automation and use of tax reporting tools.
