Job description

ABOUT ORGANOX OrganOx is a commercial stage organ technology company dedicated to developing technologies to improve outcomes for patients with acute or chronic organ failure. The company was established as a spin out of the University of Oxford in 2008 and is now part of the Terumo Group. OrganOx is a pioneer in normothermic machine perfusion (NMP). Its flagship platform, the metra®, is available for use in the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Australia. It has been utilized in over 7,000 liver transplants to date to keep donor livers in a metabolically active state outside the body enabling longer preservation times and functional assessment of the organ prior to transplant, leading to an increased number of organs available for transplant. Founded in 1921, Terumo Corporation (TSE:4543) strives to fulfill its mission of "Contributing to Society through Healthcare" by providing a comprehensive range of solutions in the fields of therapeutic procedures, hospital operations, and life sciences in more than 160 countries and regions.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist plays a key role in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent to meet OrganOx's growing global workforce needs. Working as part of the Global Human Resources team, this role plays a critical part in building candidate pipelines, supporting end-to-end recruitment activity, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

In close collaboration with Regional TA Leads, the TA Specialist will leverage a variety of sourcing methods and digital tools to identify diverse talent across multiple geographies and functions, with a particular focus on technical, quality, and operational roles within the medtech sector. The TA Specialist will provide administrative support to the recruitment process, including interview scheduling and reporting on TA metrics. There will also be the opportunity to support the development of OrganOx's employer brand and contribute to continuous improvement in recruitment processes, data integrity and candidate experience.

This is an on-site role in Oxford, with flexibility required around working hours, in order to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business in both the UK and US. The role is initially available on a 12-month FTC.

Major Responsibilities
  • Candidate Sourcing - partner with Regional TA Leads to identify, attract and engage potential candidates for current and future vacancies across global locations using a variety of talent attraction and sourcing methods (Linked In, job boards, professional networks, referrals, events and market research).
  • Screening Candidates - review CVs and applications to assess experience and fit against job requirements, shortlisting candidates for further evaluation.
  • Interviewing - conduct structured initial telephone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability, motivation, and alignment with OrganOx's values and mission.
  • Administrative Support - provide administrative support to the TA function including scheduling interviews, maintaining accurate ATS records, and contributing to TA reporting and metrics.
  • Candidate Management - manage candidate communication and engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience with timely, constructive feedback.
  • Requisition Management - partner with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to manage assigned vacancies within the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaboration - work closely with hiring managers, Regional TA Leads, and HR colleagues globally to understand workforce needs, align attraction and sourcing strategies, and support recruitment campaigns.
  • Process & Systems Improvement - contribute to continuous improvement of global TA processes, tools, and systems.
  • Talent Pipelining - conduct proactive market and talent mapping to build pipelines for business-critical and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring readiness for future growth.
  • Market Insight & Data - provide data-driven insights on sourcing performance, talent availability, and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Compliance & Ethics - Ensure all recruitment activity is conducted in line with global data protection regulations, equal employment opportunity principles, and OrganOx's Code of Conduct and company policies.
  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of OrganOx's Code of Conduct and all other company policies.

  • Experienced in market and talent mapping on an international level.
  • Intermediate proficiency in EXCEL to include pivot tables, pivot charts and VLOOKUPS; strong analytical orientation required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate research findings to key stakeholders.
