Job summary

CMR Surgical is seeking a Professional Education Trainer to lead the development and delivery of training content for the Versius robotic system. The role focuses on creating and refining educational materials for both customers and internal teams, including eLearning and VR components.

The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in the Cambridge office. It involves international travel to support training events and usability studies, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across

Qualifications

• Experience in instructional design and the development of education tools, including eLearning and LMS.
• Experience working in a healthcare/operating room environment.
• Knowledge of surgical environment and procedures, ideally minimally invasive.
• Excellent presentation skills, clear and concise writing and presentation style for technical content.
• Strong team player in cross-functional settings with clinicians, engineers and partners.
• Able to simplify complex technical material for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver all elements of the Versius training pathway, including e-learning, VR training, supervised practical training, proctors and telepresence.
• Develop content and resources for customer and internal training, including eLearning modules and videos.
• Assess training programmes via feedback, quality assurance, and coaching for improvements.
• Support training delivery for formative and summative usability studies in Cambridge and the US.
