Job summary

Miryco Consultants is seeking a Structured Operations Associate to support the Asset Origination desks internationally. The role offers exposure to structured and private investment activity across real estate, infra, social housing and related financing.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in a trading or structuring middle office and a strong grasp of risk systems, settlement processes and complex derivatives. A 2:1 degree is required and the environment is collaborative and dynamic.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience in trading or structuring middle office or trade support.
• Strong knowledge of trade booking and risk systems.
• Experience across fixed income, derivatives or structured products.
• Strong understanding of exotic Interest Rate Swaps and/or Credit Default Swaps.
• Knowledge of settlement processes and platforms such as CTM/Omgeo, MarkitWire or DTCC.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with complex legal documentation and risk systems.
• Understanding operational risks and controls.
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading process improvements.
• Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational support for bespoke investment activity.
• Work closely with Asset Origination and Trading, Structuring, Finance, Risk, Legal, Technology and Quants/Strats.
• Provide pre-trade support for Asset Origination activities and develop processes for new products.
• Validate and reconcile trade activity between internal risk systems and third-party records.
• Support settlement and lifecycle management across structured and fixed income products.
• Work with products including interest rate and cross-currency swaps, FX, CDS and bonds.
• Support long-term secured funding structures across commercial real estate, infrastructure and social housing.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk and Asset Origination on deal closings.
• Perform post-trade reviews ensuring bookings align with documentation.
• Support intraday funding, cash flow management and reconciliations.
• Identify operational risks and help develop controls and processes.
• Lead and contribute to process improvement projects.
