Job summary

Gartner seeks a qualified lawyer to join the Legal & Compliance team to maintain and enhance its sanctions compliance program. You will provide expert guidance on sanctions and complex regulatory matters, support business navigation of regulatory environments, and conduct internal investigations and audits globally.

The role requires 5+ years PQE in sanctions compliance, with strong UK/EU/US regime knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in the United Kingdom (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years PQE in sanctions compliance, in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience advising on UK, EU, US sanctions regimes.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance sanctions compliance program across regimes (US, UK, EU, UN).
• Provide legal guidance on sanctions and related compliance matters.
• Conduct due diligence, risk assessments, and client/vendor screening.
• Deliver training and policy guidance to business units.
